Great food & never changing the menu keeping it the way they have done it for years. It's a staple in maryvale great alternative to fast food although it is. Tokyo Express keep doing what guy our doing love it and will keep coming as long as you stay open. Patron for life...

There's a young Hispanic girl that works weekend and nights that's extremely rude and unprofessional towards myself and other customers that I've conversed with. I been a customer at this location for years, but my friends and I will never go back as long as she's employed there.

I've been going to Tokyo Express for about 15 years. Can't say enough good things. The service is great and the teriyaki chicken is the best.

Went to get the bento box cost was around 9.75 not bad for a bento box but literally only thing worth eating in the bento was the teriyaki chicken everything else just spew laziness the "steamed vegetables" were literally walmart frozen veggies not really complaining it's just felt bad when you spent almost 10 dollars on the food and to top it all off the egg rolls were the same vegetable that were frozen the taste was good just lacking in quality.

STAY AWAY! The best way I can describe the chicken is if you ever over cooked chicken in the oven amd ate it, this is exactly what we got. Dry over cooked cardboard chicken,barely any sauce which made it worst. The sushi is pre packaged not fresh. I will never go back! Anything you pay for your meal is overpriced. It seems the people who like it grew up eating this LOL

Very rude employee they wait on you like they could care less. I would not recommend you eating there. I ordered to eat there and when I received my order it was packaged to go. I ask him why he replied we are closing and he walked away. It was 20 minutes before closing looked like they were trying to leave early.

The location is the main reason I like this place. Helps me when I have a Teriyaki Chicken craving. Could put a little more sauce on . Other than that, I like it.

I have been coming to this particular Tokyo Express for 20 years and the food is ALWAYS fresh and amazing. The staff and friendly and patient as well. This restaurant is far more superior than the other Tokyo Express On Camelback and 7th st. Only choose this location!

prices are great, just be prepared to wait, cook to order, which takes a while sometimes when they are busy. but good food.

This is an establishment that I have been coming to for 20+ years. The quality of the food has always been consistent. This is a good place for those who enjoy both healthier choices and good tasting.

Good food and menu has been excellent for a long time, but it looks like they decided to update their menu and remove a ton of menu items. This used to be one of my favorite places, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be going there as often now. The menus online are no longer accurate.

Good food reasonably priced

Waited not too long. Paid about $15 for 2 chicken teriyaki bowls, ordered one bowl with steamed veggies, a side salad and a drink. Was enough to feed my daughter, significant other and myself. Overall tasted pretty good similar to flame broiler. Service was pleasant. I would definitely come back and recommend tokyo express to a friend.

Food here still tasting good. But the place is super old! It's kinda scary. Dusty around and not very clean. If you go here I recommend you have your food to go.

Have always preferred TE to any other Japanese fast food! The most pathetic website I've come across in a while - DANG! Wish they would get on board with the food delivery too - Door Dash, Postmates, etc.

This is one of the last old-school OG PHX Japanese food spots. California rolls are fair to partly cloudy but most everything else is damn good. The bowls should all be given a chance to slide across your hungry mouths at one point. Every one of them.....

I used to love this place back in the day. Just went in for the lunch special listed on their website and the short older lady behind the counter refused to honor the price siting that was the other stores prices, not theirs. Funny how their address is listed on the website. They don't want to honor their prices, I will go elsewhere.
